Professional skin-needling has been established to be a clinically effective procedure that can have remarkable results in significantly improving the appearance of your skin. HOW DOES IT WORK?
FNS is a special microneedling pen type device that contains sterile microneedles. Your therapist will use bespoke skincare products selected for your skin.
The effect of the microneedling is to make tiny little channels through the surface of the skin. This pierces the skin barrier for a short period of time and allows deep penetration of any products immediately applied to the skin. The microneedling, in causing tiny injuries to the skin surface, encourages the skin’s innate ability to repair itself. This stimulates collagen production which improves the texture of the skin, helps to repair scars and stretch marks and will also result in firmer, tighter skin.
Endymed Intensif uses radiofrequency at the same time as the needling. Each time the needle pierces the skin, a controlled burst of radiofrequency is sent to the collagen producing cells. This encourages more collagen stimulation deeper within the tissues resulting in a much more intense treatment and more impressive results.
WHAT HAPPENS AT MY APPOINTMENT?
You will be in the clinic for around 1-hour 45-mins. First, your skin is thoroughly cleansed and photos taken, these are kept as part of your progress record. Numbing cream will then be applied to the skin, taking about 30-minutes to achieve maximum benefit. The treatment itself takes around 30-minutes and is followed by an Omnilux light therapy session. This accelerates the healing process and reduces your downtime. Appropriate skincare will be applied following the treatment and aftercare advice will be given.
In addition, we recommend Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy to our needling treatments. Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy is the revolutionary rejuvenation procedure using your body’s own healing resources. It is a completely safe and natural treatment that is highly effective in improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, stretchmarks and scars. As well as improving the skin tone, the treatment also promotes healthy skin growth and collagen production resulting in skin appearing plumper and more vibrant. Adding PRP to any needling treatment will reduce the downtime of the treatment.
IS SKIN NEEDLING PAINFUL?
Before your treatment your skin will be numbed using a topical anaesthetic (numbing cream) to ensure you remain comfortable throughout.
HOW LONG IS THE RECOVERY TIME?
Immediately after your needling treatment, you may look as though you have mild sunburn and your skin may feel warm and tighter than usual. This will start to subside over the next 2-3 hours and will normally recover within 24-hours. Typically most people have only slight redness the following day. The Omnilux light therapy can significantly reduce the redness. Occasionally the redness can persist for 3-7 days. We suggest avoiding make up for at least 24-hours and we shall provide you with appropriate skincare products to use which will help with effective healing. Mineral make up can be worn.
DO I NEED A COURSE OF TREATMENTS?
We recommend a course of treatments depending on the skin concern being treated, but we usually recommend a course of at least three treatments approximately 4-6 weeks apart. We suggest maintenance treatments every 6-12 months to optimise the benefits of your course.
HOW LONG DO THE RESULTS LAST?
Results can last for up to 18 months depending on your skin and the skin concern that is being treated. we recommend maintenance treatments every 6-12 months to maintain the benefits of your course.

What is included with the Skin Vitality Consultation?
The Skin Vitality Consultation with Dr Sam Robson, is an in-depth skin health assessment which includes:
- A full skin analysis using the latest technology from FotoFinder
- Comprehensive evaluation of your current skin health
- Lifestyle and health assessment
- Discussion about any skin concerns
- Our in-depth analysis allows us to look at areas of the skin that cannot be seen by the human eye. We look at 6 different aspects on the surface and below the skin, including wrinkles, breakouts, pores, skin tone evenness, texture, dehydration, sensitivity and pigmentation from overexposure to the sun.
Following your consultation:
- You will be emailed a detailed plan including a skincare product regime specific for your skin and a bespoke treatment plan devised by Dr Sam Robson.
- A selection of samples will be chosen specifically for your skins needs
- Lifestyle and dietary recommendations
- Follow up email with a complimentary skin review
This appointment is 45-mins to 1-hour and priced at £99.
What is included with the Skin Assessment?
The Skin Assessment with Dr Sam Robson, is a shorter 30-minute express appointment which includes:
- Evaluation of skin health
- Discussion about suitable treatments/products
- May include small selection of samples
- Email from Dr Sam with treatment/product costs and recommendations
This appointment is 30-mins and priced at £50 (can be redeemed against cost of treatment or products).
